Lincoln Nicolás was born in 1933 and throughout his extensive artistic career he stood out for his contribution to the artistic development of Santiago and especially the plastic arts. “His art is bearer of life, imagination and fantasy of the inner world with flamboyants of wide shadows and sensual mulattas with succulent bodies. The grandeur of his work has transgressed borders showing the best of Cuban criollismo." [1].
