Little River Art Tent
Located at The Center for Haitian Studies, The Little River Art Tent is a vibrant and innovative project showcasing art. Our mission is to provide a dynamic platform for artists to share their work, while promoting cultural exchange, understanding, and appreciation.
The Little River Art Tent is a also cultural hub, a gathering place, and a celebration of the rich artistic heritage of Haiti and the Caribbean. We envision a space where artists, art lovers, and the community come together to experience, learn, and be inspired by the beauty and diversity of Caribbean and international art.
Our inaugural celebration was a vibrant showcase of artistic talent from around the world, featuring works and artists from Kenya, Ghana, Congo, Rwanda, Cuba, and Haiti.
The event offered a diverse range of programming, including:
- Inspiring artist talks and intimate workshops
- Live demonstrations and interactive exhibits
- Captivating cultural events and performances
- Engaging educational programs and activities for children and adults
- Explorations of the entrepreneurial aspects of art, highlighting the intersection of creativity and commerce.
This inaugural event set the stage for our ongoing mission to celebrate diversity, foster creativity, and inspire connection through the universal language of art.
